<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"ekit-team-modal-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMr. Parvez is working as Programme Officer of the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity. Mr. Parvez joined APT in 2004 as Project Coordinator in Radiocommunications. Since then he has been involved in various activities of APT related to policy, regulation and spectrum management.  \n\n \n\nMr. Parvez is skilled in developing the process of regional coordination on the issues of common interests for major ITU conferences. Over the years, he had systemized and coordinated the APT\u2019s preparatory process for developing APT Common Proposals for major ITU Conferences like Plenipotentiary Conferences (PP), World Radiocommunication Conferences (WRC), World Telecommunication Development Conferences (WTDC), Radiocommunication Assembly (RA) and World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA). Currently, he is involved in the activities in APT Conference Preparatory Group for WRC-27.  \n\n \n\nOver the years, Mr. Parvez has worked for APT\u2019s other work programs including APT Wireless Group (AWG) and SATRC. He has been involved in developing SATRC Action Plans Phase III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII and IX Further, he implemented the project of APT on developing APT Frequency Information System (AFIS), a comprehensive information system on the use of radio frequencies in the Asia-Pacific. Currently, he is liaising with policy makers and regulators for the promotion of AFIS.  \n\n \n\nPrior to joining APT, Mr. Parvez worked as Research Supervisor at the Telecommunication Programme, Asian Institute of Technology based in Bangkok where he conducted research on advanced wireless communication systems. He has several research publications on mm-wave Radiocommunication.  \n\n \n\nMr. Parvez holds Master of Engineering degree in Telecommunication Engineering which he obtained in December 2001 from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). He received the \u2018Government of Finland \u2013 Telia-Sonera\u2019 Scholarship on a competitive basis to conduct his Master\u2019s Degree in AIT.   He holds the Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Mudassar Naveed is a telecom &amp; IT industry professional with over 25 years of experience in government policy, regulation, technology operations, business growth, and digital transformation. He currently serves as CEO of the Universal Service Fund (USF), Pakistan, and has previously worked with Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Ericsson, Nortel Networks, and PTCL Group. USF is a key contributor to Telecom infrastructure in rural &amp; remote areas of Pakistan, having connected 41m population with mobile services in 23,530 villages along with 21,100km of OFC. As Director General (Strategy &amp; Development) at the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, he led key initiatives including the IoT &amp; SRD Regulatory Framework, Telecom Infrastructure Sharing Framework and the adoption of Wi-Fi 6E\/7 in Pakistan. He chaired the APT SATRC Working Group on Policy, Regulation &amp; Services (2021\u201323) and represented Pakistan at ITU's WRC-23. Mudassar holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering, an MBA, and is an alumnus of Carnegie Mellon University's Center for Executive Education in Technology Policy. Sarmad Hussain is with ICANN\u2019s Internationalized Domain Names (IDN) and Universal Acceptance (UA) Program. Earlier, he was a professor of Computer Science and held the IDRC Research Chair in Multilingual Computing. His research has focused on developing computing solutions for Asian languages, including research in linguistics, localization, speech processing, computational linguistics and large language models.
